Welcome to The Smith Rock Restaurant!

Stop In For An Old-Fashioned Home-Cooked Meal

by Judy Barnes

If you haven’t visited the Smith Rock Restaurant in Terrebonne lately, you may be depriving yourself of a good down-home meal and great atmosphere. The Brown’s, Rick, Pat and daughter Tracy, relocated in the area 11 years ago and took over ownership of the local restaurant in December of 1999.  Rick has been in the restaurant business for 33 years. They pride themselves in serving a variety of seafood, steaks and hamburgers, with all the meat purchased locally. Where else can you go and get breakfast anytime of the day?

Rick, having grown up in Central Oregon, couldn’t wait to bring his family to the area. The family enjoys fishing, camping and exploring the countryside, and he knew this was the place to do all these family fun things together.  Pat not only spends time at the restaurant, but she also takes time from her busy schedule to volunteer at her daughter’s school. The family resides in Bend and commutes every day, but they are considering the possibility of eventually living in the Terrebonne area.

Since the first day in business, the Brown’s have marveled at the local support of the community. They expressed how much they appreciate everyone dropping in and their continued patronage, and they say a big thank you to everyone for making them feel so welcome.
